What if I don't have a product to sell? What's the point?
by Grace
Grace, that's a great question.
I made money on this site for two years before ever offering a product of my own to sell. And I make much more money in those other ways than I do from selling my own product.
Once you have traffic, it's yours to try to send any way you like. If you've written a page, say, on model airplanes...
- You can link to books on Amazon on the subject
- Yahoo or Google will place ads on your site (if you ask them!) for model airplane sites that will pay for traffic. You share in the revenue!
The point is to find a subject you know a lot about and can write about. Or...
Find a subject you're interested in, and write about it as you learn! I've done that. It's like paying yourself to go to school!
If you don't have your own product, then just think of your self as an
infopreneur! It's no reason not to get started. A huge percentage of SBIers have nothing of their own to sell.
