When I was in elementary school, everyone was crazy about Goosebumps
. They used to line up for hours in front of the bookshelves that contained Goosebumps. Boys were especially crazy about it.
Seeing the demand and popularity Goosebumps series enjoyed, I decided to try it out. I fell in love with it right after the first book. The twist endings were spooky for a young child like me. I began making trips to the bookstore every week to buy a book from the Goosebumps series. I started standing in long queues in the library to borrow those books.
R.L. Stine's writing style was easy to understand and his characters were easy to relate to. When you read his books, you felt as if it could happen to you. I read close to sixty or seventy books in the series after which I grew up and lost interest. But I still love the series and would recommend it to everyone looking for spooky entertainment.
