Sully, You're So Silly
by Norman Kirkwood
I have a dog named Sully. He has floppy ears and crooked teeth. Sometimes when I look at him I just start giggling. Sully - you're so silly! My dad bought Sully a big dog pillow to sleep on. Instead of sleeping on the pillow, he crawls under it and sleeps on the floor. Sully - you're so silly! My mom brings our dirty clothes down to the laundry room. Sully likes to drag out the dirty, smelly clothes and lay on them. Sully - you're so silly! When it gets dark at night, Sully can see his reflection in the window. He barks and barks because he thinks there is another dog in the house. Sully - you're so silly! Sully likes to act brave and loud whenever another dog is nearby. If the other dog starts to come over to him, he cries and runs away. Sully - you're so silly! My sister puts his food in his dog dish. Sully takes it out of his dish and eats it off the floor. Sully - you're so silly! Sully chews on my shoes. Sully hides my toys. Sully chases me around the house. Sometimes I yell at him for being so silly. But....Sully is my best friend!
