I am a freelance professional children's illustrator. I believe there are several things that create a good children's book illustration, good use of color, design, lay out and of course great characters.

I believe in good communication with my clients. I begin by developing the characters. Once they are approved by you, I move onto the layout of the book . Once completed, I send you the roughs for approval. The I began the coloring process. Illustrations can be sent in any format, size and resolution you desire.

I also offer suggestions/advice regarding changes in your manuscript if I believe it can improve the book over all.
Style:

My style is colorful, happy and child friendly displaying the sweet innocence and simplicity of childhood.
I use acrylic paint and Photoshop to create my illustrations along with pen and ink.

I have illustrated for the following Children magazines:
Fandangle, Whittle Tykes, and Stories for Children
I have written and illustrated my own picture book that has been published with Synergebooks.

Prices:
$65-$ 95.00 per full color illustration
$100-$150 full color cover art
Please keep in mind all fees are negotiable.

Payments are as followed:
*1/3 due upon approval of character development and text/illustration layout.
*1/3 due upon completion of all illustrations.
*1/3 due upon delivery of completed project.
