I've written a series of downloadable, printable, pictureless picture books. They're the ultimate reading activity: picture book stories that your child illustrates.

Benefit #1: Your child practices imagining a story.

Why is this an important skill? Because as your child inevitably moves from picture books to chapter books, being able to picture the story helps keep a love of reading alive.

With this reading activity, your child actively imagines the story and depicts it on the page.

With approximately 20 pages in each book, there's a lot of illustrating to do.

Stretch it out over a few days. Encourage your child to do his/her best work, because...

Nowadays our children get plenty of stories, but most of them don't teach the lessons we want our children to learn.
