Rainbow Mermaid

Although I have illustrated my own children's books, I'm primarily a Gallery artist.

I wrote & illustrated books when I first came to America from Australia, to make great gifts for my grandkids, but it blossomed into something else when people began reading it, & asking for copies. By then I had finished the Bronte series so I decided to self- publish the introductory book, 'Tails.'

I also realized it would help the homeless animals, especially the stigma & bad luck rap the black cats receive. A portion of my sales helps support my Local Shelter.

I love Rainbows & they are all through my work. I'm influenced by stained glass windows, Celtic & Art Nouveau styles, & my medium is Prismacolor pencils.

I have a Rainbow Angel & Mermaids, (more to come!)

I was educated in Art College in New Zealand & initially worked in the Advertising/ Newspaper & display field when I left college.

I have my first Solo Art Exhibition coming up for the whole month of May in the Manatee Arts Council Gallery in the Village of the Arts, Bradenton Florida. May 2nd to 30th.
