Illuminate your tale

Welcome! My name is Tiffany Sheely. I am an artist/illustrator located within the state of Montana.

I am very familiar with the collaborative relationship between a client and an illustrator, so do not let distance discourage you!

I currently hold a degree in art as well as a masters degree in rehabilitation and mental health counseling.

In addition to this, I have illustrated numerous books for Outlook Publishing, as well as various independent authors.

My illustration experience has not been limited to children’s books. I have composed campaign cartoons, graphics and logos, t-shirt designs, postcards, commissioned paintings, business cards, brochures, and posters.

I am an illustrator who enjoys working with my clients. Character development is often a key component to any plot line. I understand it is important to get illustrations with just the right feel for the story.

I strive to identify what my client would like to portray - and often have some fun along the way - as we develop creative images together.

I can be contacted by email: tiffanysheely@tiffanysheely.com.

Fruition Illustration and Design

Bring your ideas & dreams to Fruition!

My art varies quite a lot, and I have the ability to utilise different styles.

Mediums that I love to work in include watercolor, pen & ink, colored pencil, digital painting and design, pencil, mixed media/collage, and acrylic.

My art generally takes on either a cutesy, cartoony look or a whimsical, sometimes art nouveau flare. I love details!... tiny beautiful flowers everywhere or intricate costuming.

I excel in depicting the human form and nature.

I studied art at Umass Amherst from 1999 - 2003 and graduated with a fine arts degree. Since then, I've dabbled in illustration here and there but found it easier to focus on graphic design, for money's sake.

I'm trying to focus more on my illustration now and hope to move more in that direction soon!

Fees are negotiable with the client based on their needs. I am willing to do the first consultation for free and the first sketches for a discounted rate.

My drawings have personality.

They feel spontaneous and full of movement. They are neither slick nor trendy; instead, they are a little rough and evoke a slightly different time or place. They are not flat; they provoke an emotional reaction.

I enjoy drawing animals and am able to capture their emotions.

When asked to illustrate a scene, I resist merely reflecting what the words have already said. Because I am a writer as well, I understand narrative, and so I try with my illustrations to augment the narrative, adding something that furthers the story.

I think this is the way a musical works too. Songs in a musical do not merely repeat what the spoken words have already conveyed. The songs add to the story and move it along.

Let cute art design be the key to your children's book illustrations!

I can support you with high quality but inexpensive illustrations. I am a freelance local artist and writer in Renton, Washington.

I've had a passion for illustration since I was a little girl. Recently, I illustrated my children's stories in the World Journal newspaper, which is a famous Chinese language newspaper in the United States.

I really enjoy drawing for the World Journal and will continue doing it.

My illustrations are done by hand, but I also use a computer for editing and page layout. The tools my hands use for producing my artwork are:

- pencil
- color pencil
- pastel

If you want to see more samples, please contact me.

I look forward to working with you.

Thanks!

Phoenix

Illustrator to help your story come to life

My name is Lisa Lang. I have a very diverse way in art. I airbrush, paint, and draw. The style of illustrating I like to do is diverse.

Ranging from simple cartoon-like characters to realistic, fantasy, animals, and more. I like to challenge myself with new ideas and don't choose to limit my style to a single type of illustration.

I know I would be a good candidate for children's books and am excited to move forward in this venture.

Sincerely,

Lisa Lang
