My New Neighborhood Monsters

by Erika Sevilla

monster smiley

All this began when my new neighbors arrived
They looked sort of odd this family of five.

Something was different they were strange I could see
But nothing prepared me for what they turned out to be.

It started in fall there was a chill in the air
They watched me quite closely and gave me strange glares.

I suddenly noticed the neighborhood pets started missing.
I tried to approach them but they wouldn't listen.

Later that night I looked through their window
Shocked and disgusted I saw what's for dinner.

A poor Neighborhood pet was there on the stove
And they were a round him eating its bones.

I took a good look and then I could see
This family of 5 were not what they seemed!

They were ugly and scary three eyes I could see
They had ooze dripping off where their skin used to be!

I started to run from these hideous monsters
I saw on my way all the missing pets posters!

I made it home safetly and I learned my lesson.
Always beware when strange things start to happen!

And if you don't think my story is true
Keep an eye on your pet it could happen to you!!

The End
