I had related the story, "The Long Dark Scary Night" to children for years to help them overcome their fear of the dark.
But - had no pictures, no artist, yet believed the story deserved an experienced artist of superior quality and vision.
Enter: Monica Minto :) Monica was highly recommended to me by a publisher. I was somewhat skeptical, but contacted her through e-mail. She responded promptly with interest and a caring attitude. That was encouraging, but - would she capture the vision, the emotion of the book?
YES! Monica took a little story that meant so much to me, and, with her unique God given talent, she created a short story masterpiece :)

Monica is a gem of an Illustrator! She has the rare faculty of fitting her drawings into the text bringing it alive before your very own eyes.
A professional illustator of many years remarked to me that he was very impressed with the fine, exquisite details of her work.
Monica is a calm person and is easy to work with even under the most trying circumstances of giving birth to the thing called a children's book.
She will soon be illustrating my second children's book for the rasons given above.

It was truly a wonderful blessing working with Monica. She was very friendly and graciously willing to work with me on my childrens novel. She helped when the pressure was on to get the illustrations for my novel. When I saw the illustrations that she was thinking about, I was in awe. Once I recieved the finished product,they were fantastic! Her illustrations were the perfect compliment to the novel. I am greatly appreciative to Monica for her hard work, cooperation, and beautiful Illustration.

Awesome Illustrator by: Marie Dockery
Monica Minto is one of the most talented illustrators I have had
the pleasure to work with. She responded quickly to my cry for help in illustrating my book, "The Three Billy Goats Gruff Find Jesus and The Three Little Souls." I told her simply what I wanted, and she immediately went to work and drew some amazing pen and pencil drawings. The illustrations were not only beautiful and detailed, but also were exactly what I wanted to make the story come alive. She made modifications as I requested in a very short time. I have great appreciation for her for the graphics she supplied quickly and efficiently.
