LG Illustrations

by Lauren Gulino

"Stronger"

Fresh. Fun. Vibrant. Original.

My work can bring you back to those whimsical days when you were a child.

I've acquired my BFA in studio art and illustration at Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ.

I have showcased my work in several one-man art shows, and have been published by Lulu.com and most recently AuthorHouse.

My style is vibrantly fun and full of life - as children are. I do not like to pigeon-hole myself into one style, but no matter what the medium, my illustrations take on a life of their own. My illustrations can be simplistic and they can be technical, depending on the project needs.

I work in a variety of media. Most notably with a blend of watercolor and colored pencils. I sometimes work on toned paper, and I frequently add mixed media.

In my example, which was completed for a non-profit group sponsoring children with cancer, a little boy gains his strength from a beam of light. This is composed of mixed media and colored pencils.

My fees range depending on the project.

In order to 'audition' for a project I am willing to send sketches and color studies.

I like to work directly with the team on the project, and collaboratively bounce ideas back and forth. I like to get things right the first time, but am always willing to make adjustments.

More of my work can be seen at LG Illustrations.

Thank you! And I hope we can work together soon!
