Illustrator and Cartoonist

Hi...I'm an Illustrator and Cartoonist, 24 years of experience.

I had done some courses such as 3D StudioMax, Windows Sistem, PhotoShop, CorelDraw, Cartoon Animation, Art Direction and Final Art, Graphic Designer (watercolor, sketch, acrylic and charcoal) and Silk-Screen.

I started out quickly in the publications field, working on watercolors, gouache and realistic acrylic illustrations using various techniques. I planned and did the follow-up on the graphic art department for a magazine. I also worked on folders, invitation cards, a newspaper and other layouts. I worked on preparing the advertising material for the same company too.(1987)

As a Graphic Arts Designer developing several final artwork projects for booklets, newspapers, posters, book covers, product catalogues and packaging. I did various illustrations using human and animal drawings all made by hand. I also prepared many icons, logos for companies. I did some airbrush artworks too.(1991)

I drew a comic book manual for a campaign and used specific graphic arts software for making the final touches. I have done colored, black and white cartoons for in-house organs and several magazines. I created the logo based on the ?quero-quero? bird (a Brazilian bird) for the Embraco Ecological Campaign Prize. I had the opportunity to be the Junior Art Director preparing other advertising materials for mails direct, ads, booklets, banners, billboards, and character creation and illustrated children?s inserts. Presently working at my own studio, which is completely computerized, creating and developing characters and cartoons for publications. Also drawing cartoons for advertising. Elaborating storyboards, folders, cartoon animations, illustrations, comic strips and comic books at high-quality level for the communication, publishing and advertising area.

In fact, I have a own and free style when I elaborate my illustrations. Otherwise I can to create many others styles of drawing as well. I love to feel free as a bird when I create my drawings. I love all styles...specially traditional, fine art and watercolor.

I'm proficient in the most of media such as magazines, books, booklets, newsletter ..till for cartoons animation for tv and web. But I have a big love for Fine arts and watercolor.

The price of my artworks are set because my fees are not expensive. However, if the customer has difficulties to pay for some reason, we can to deal the fee. It's relevant to me carries out a nice work with responsibility and competence.

I can to do some sketches and some test, so that the artwork be approved by customer. I'm willing to do that, no problem, because this makes part of my work already.

During all my experience working in agencies and publishing houses I learned about the word "cooperate" and I always to cooperate to promote a satisfaction of customer and a nice work. I like to be a good partner.
