My nose sticks out peeking Eyes quickly seeking From inside me a squeaking Something smells good Out of my hole I scurry Fast in a hurry Across a floor that is furry I’m getting close now Scratch, climb, scratch Up an electric cable Pitter, pat, pat Across the table Sniff, sniff, smile, I was finally able To eat up that delicious cheese So good my mouth smacks Was that cheddar or jack?
