I decided to publish my book after having a kid of my own,
the book was written when I was 9 which seemed a fun idea.

I had no budget to spend but decided to go for it opting for the package which would put the book into borders. Almost as soon as everything was paid for borders went down.

I tried to get the money back but was offered a publicist in replace which I had to pay more for. Nothing has really been done, and when the book eventually came out I found it was printed in the US which I was not told.

This then meant my £5.99 book had £6.10 shipping added to it meaning no one was going to buy it. Now it is for sale on amazon for £8.49 free shipping. It is taken a lot of work to get to this stage and I make almost nothing from each copy sold. I have managed to get it in to waterstones and have pushed far to much money into it now.

It takes a lot of hard work and time with no real money back from it, Its just nice to have a book I can dedicate to my son. I just hope someone sees it and would like to take on the idea for it to have all been worth it.
