My name is Galyna and I am a self-taught artist.

Most of all I love to draw, especially nature and animals. I also like children's books and will be happy to create whimsical illustrations for them.

I try myself in many styles and in my works I use different media, such as watercolor, crayons, pencils, pastel, acrylic, ink, and pens. I use digital techniques as well.

i am a cartoonist. always liked humorous drawings, both pretty and witty. my line is rather simple and clear, with very live look and rounded, flowing shapes. i like so much to draw animals (cute and comic), and story scenes, fantasy genre (dragons, knights, castles, you name it). i can do many styles of drawing if needed, though i do have one of my own. although this may be a bit too serious drawing for a children's book, i can anytime draw more innocent-like characters. hope you will like it.

I am forty one and I live with my nice family: my Husband, two lovely kids, Devy and Sophie, and two dogs and one cat.

My family and the lovely pets help me to feel younger and understand what children want to see in the books and what they are waiting for when they start opening the pages.

My best memories are from my childhood. The summertime I spent in my father’s home town in the mountains in a beautiful place, with my grandmother and with my cousins. Memories of this time never leave me and help me to see how the sun looks in the sky and a bird on a tree to a child.
