Let's not make this complicated. Bad behaviors are a part of childhood. Our job as parents is to make sure our children grow out of them...fast. But bad behaviors can be stubborn. Often, even if the behavior (and its consequences) make a child unhappy, the child doesn't know how to stop the behavior. (Is that so hard to understand? Don't you have some habits you find hard to quit?)
Your child believes he (or she) can too! Repetition Leads to Learning My behavior books are meant to be read and re-read. More than that, they're meant to be illustrated...by your child.
Are you starting to see how a behavior book can correct a child's behavior? This is self-directed learning; your child does the work within. No nagging required! I could tell you more about how the books work, the theory and history behind them, but at the silly price I'm offering these books at, I don't want to talk them to death. Just click on the child's behavior you'd like to address. You'll be taken to a page where you can download the book or read an excerpt first.
My behavior books can work for your child! Give 'em a try! Write a book of your own to address your child's behavior specifically. Read more about bibliotherapy, the use of children's books to address children's problems. Best Children's Books home page. |
