Hey, I’m Billy Dickerson, a recent graduate of Alfred University with my Bachelor degree in Elementary Education and English and my Masters in Literacy. I’m getting ready for a big move to Colorado to work with the Boys and Girls Clubs through Americorps. Among other things, I am a proud uncle to my nephew, Jacob (4 ½), and my niece, Faith (still under a year.)

As a hopeful future teacher, I have explored a wide variety of literature for children and I am very picky about the books that I recommend to readers. I have a fondness for "classical" literature, but I also appreciate the work that current writers are generating.

My biggest interest is in books that are well-written, with characters that are intriguing and plots that are sensible and fun.
