My original water colour illustrations capture a childs imagination and adult reader in a colourful way. Big bright colourful paintings.

About me
I am a self taught illustrator who would love the oppurtunity to team up with an author to create something really special in the world of childrens books.

I am a mother of three young children. I have challenged myself by writting and illustrating my own childrens books whilst at home. Maybe one day I will self publish them, I dont know. I have also illustrated for a self published local author.

I paint in water colour, acrylic and oil. I also use pastel, chalk pencil and ink.

Once I have the manuscript...

- I will listen and discuss what you may be picturing.

- It is important for us to negociate a price or royalty so there is no confusion. We then can agree on when to have the illustrations finished by.

THE CREATIVE MIND!

- I will then story board in my head for a few days before I pencil anything in. This is my creative head going crazy. Then I sketch very rough characters, back grounds and so on, keeping regular contact with you.

- Then the creative hands on work begins to bring the story alive.
