I'm 21. I've been interested in drawing and painting since i was a kid. At the age of 6 I began to draw in the art school for child I studied there for 2 years. When I was 10, I entered to another art school and studied for 4 years. Then, in 2009 I've graduated from the college of arts in Russia (I have a BA "Design".)
When I came to London, I didn't know what exactly I wanted to do, so I took some courses:
2010 -"Stop motion animation course","Get your children's book published" at St.Martin's college of art and design.
2010 - "Printmaking course" at Heatherley's school of fine art.
2010-2011 "Drawing a story course" at prince's drawing school.
Also I had private art tutorials with an artist an sculptor Aleksandras Aleksejevas (2009-2011.
So I understood who I want to be - children's illustrator and writer.
My last creative works and exhibitions:
2011 I made my own picture book about fox cub "Olis and the big outside". I used an "author house" (self publishing) to publish this book, and now everybody can buy it on amazon.
Exhibition "Playing with a shadow" Illustrated "the little prince by Antoine De saint Exupery"
I use different materials. For example for my book about the fox cub I used watercolor and black pen, for illustrations "The old man and the sea" I used black tea and pencil, and illustrations "The little prince" I made by oils... on canvas.
My style is more traditional... as to be honest I don't like modern and contemporary art)
I REALLY WANT TO BE AN ILLUSTRATOR, AND TO FIND A PUBLISHING HOUSE TO WORK WITH.
